Calf Implant surgery resembles the appearance of a toned and worked out muscle. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia. An incision will be made at the back of the knee area. Then a pocket is made under the covering of the muscle. The implant is place between the covering of the muscle and the muscle itself. The implant now in place, the pocket is then sutured. The results are immediate; however, most patients will have to wait for the swelling to go down to see the full results. You will usually wait a week to 10 days to return to work and your light activities. |
